The process to develop this plan is collaborative, consultative and participatory. This means that the plan will be developed with input from key stakeholders on the island, which include persons, businesses and organizations operating within the various island sectors and the general public. Only with the input of island stakeholders is it possible to make a plan that is specific to Saba, its community and challenges our island will face due to the impacts of climate change.
With this in mind, the Public Entity will host two open workshops in which island stakeholders will be given the opportunity to help shape the climate plan with their input. Stakeholders are invited to participate in either of the two workshops, which will be held on:
- Thursday, February 13th, at 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the conference room of the Fire Station in The Bottom.
- Friday, February 14th, at 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM in the Eugenius Johnson Center in Windwardside
Please bear in mind that these workshops are interactive and participatory. We, therefore, kindly request that you come with an open mind and willingness to share as much of your knowledge and expertise as possible. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
