Tropical Storm Ernesto has formed, approximately 390 miles east from Saba.
It is expected that at its closest it will pass by 47 miles southwest of Saba on Tuesday afternoon, bringing a high risk of tropical storm force winds on Tuesday and Wednesday, as well as heavy rainfall and thunderstorms.
All government buildings, including Absolute Childcare, will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday August 13th. In addition, the offices of Saba Electric and SATEL N.V. will be closed. An update will be given on any further closures on Tuesday afternoon.
We are advising the public again to avoid unnecessary travel and to stay alert as the adverse weather approaches.
