Continuing Care for your Child

After the four-week appointment (See Newborn Care), follow-up appointments and contact moments will follow a set schedule until the child is 4 years old.   

These appointments will include the established immunization schedule, growth and development assessments, and provide an opportunity to ask questions or seek advice from the Youth Health team as needed.

Throughout, the Youth Health Nurse remains a resource if you have questions or concerns about parenting or your child's development.
