The Finance Department is actively engaged in enhancing our financial administration system, marking a significant stride towards digitalization of our products and services. This transformation will profoundly impact our clients, streamlining their experience and improving efficiency. Presently, our manual process of handling physical mail will transition to digitalized invoicing for clients and digitalized invoice management for departments, ensuring quicker and more secure transactions.

These enhancements will significantly impact both our accounts payable and accounts receivable administration, transforming our financial operations. Moreover, these improvements will empower government departments to issue and accept card payments on-site, eliminating the necessity for clients to physically visit the Receiver's Office for some services.

Initially, this initiative will be piloted across several locations in 2024, allowing us to refine and optimize the process. If successful, it will be extended to all departments generating income by 2025, thereby enhancing convenience and accessibility for our clients.

Additionally, our system upgrades will encompass digitalized project management, asset management, and reserve management. These advancements will alleviate the burden of our current manual processes, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and overall productivity within all our departments.
