The Island Council, functions as an administrative entity, and is composed of five members who are each affiliated with a political party and elected directly by the island's voting populace. This council embodies the voice of the Saba community, setting strategic policy directions and overseeing the Executive Council's activities.

Decisions within the Island Council are meticulously crafted in various committees, with thorough debates and voting occurring during the public Island Council meetings. In addition, Central Committee meetings provide a platform for Island Council members to engage with the Executive Council, addressing pressing matters and current affairs of the island.

Residents and interested parties are encouraged to participate in these democratic processes. All public meetings are accessible for attendance in person or can be conveniently followed online.

Spearheading the Island Council is Chairman Island Governor Jonathan Johnson, with the invaluable support of Island Registrar Akilah Leventone.
