35th Anniversary of World Children's Day recognized on Saba

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, the Community Development and Culture Department, in partnership with UNICEF, visited the Saba Comprehensive School and Sacred Heart School to celebrate the 35th anniversary of World Children's Day. The event highlighted the importance of recognizing and celebrating children, their dreams, and their potential.

Ramona Berkel, Domestic Safety Advisor for PES, and Dirkje de Jong of UNICEF shared inspiring messages with students, reminding them of their rights to dream big, learn, and grow, while emphasizing the vital role they play in making the world a better place. As part of the celebration, students received cupcakes as a sweet treat and a symbolic reminder of their value and importance.
