Island Governor Jonathan Johnson recently welcomed Gerard van Ballegooij, Director of European and International Affairs at the Ministry of Justice and Security.
During this visit to Saba on the 8th of April, meetings were held with the Island Governor, Island Secretary Bram Streppel, Head of Legal Affairs Devi van Groningen, Legislative Lawyer Mathilde Koetsier and the Head of Public Order and Safety Walle Bos.
Topics discussed include developments regarding crisis management, border protection, legislative processes, fair election, subversive crime and the new policy agenda for the Ministry of Justice and Security for Caribbean Netherlands for 2026-2030.
