Youth Health - Baby Clinic

The Baby Clinic covers the entire range of contact moments, from the mother's prenatal care to the child's 4th birthday.   The goal of the Baby Clinic is to give newborns and young children the best possible healthy start. This is achieved through a system that focuses on preventive care, regular contact moments, health promotion and enrollment in a set vaccination schedule for childhood diseases.

During the established contact and evaluation moments, the Youth Health Nurse and, for certain appointments, the Youth Health Doctor, together with the parents, can assess the child's development and health.  The system is focused on preventive care, regular contact moments, health promotion and enrollment in a fixed vaccination schedule established by the National Vaccination Program of the RIVM.
