The Department of Infrastructure and Spatial Planning (ISP) plays a crucial role in shaping Saba’s future under the motto “Building a Sustainable Tomorrow.” The department’s mission is to improve and maintain Saba’s infrastructure, including roads, harbors, the airport, the RO-water network, and public facilities such as buildings, sports fields, parks, and other recreational spaces. ISP strives to enhance the quality of life for all Sabans while promoting sustainable use of the land and creating infrastructure that serves the public.

The department's key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, designing, tendering, and managing construction projects.
  • Developing policies related to spatial planning and affordable housing.
  • Regulating building and demolition permits.
  • Advising on long leases of government land.
